What is IIT-JEE Advanced
There are total 23 IIT’S in India and admission in all the IIT’S through JEE (Joint Entrance Exam). But JEE exam is conducted only by one of the seven IIT’S as following. IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, IIT Kanpur, IIT Roorkee, IIT-Madras, IIT-Guwahati and IISC (Indian Institute of Science) Bangalore.

The Procedure Adopted by HRD-M to admit students to various NITs & other Engineering Colleges Will be as Follows:
- Appear For JEE-MAIN Paper.
- JEE-MAIN will be conducted in online and offline mode.
- JEE-MAIN will be an based test of physics, chemistry & Mathematics 25 question each subject in which 20 objective and 5 single value question.
- The test will of 3 hours duration.

Entrance into IIT'S
In the 2018 two Lacs students selected in JEE-MAIN will paper in JEE-ADVANCED. The modalities of
JEE-ADVANCED are as follows:
- Appear for JEE-ADVANCED Paper.
- JEE-ADVANCED will be conducted in offline mode.
- JEE-ADVANCED paper will comprised objective paper of Physics, Chemistry & Mathmatics in 2 shifts.
- Each objective test paper will be of 3 hours duration.
